What an incredible band Dozer is. My first show at the Brick by Brick, and I Ioved it.
First of all, I arrived very early, around 5:00pm. The members of Dozer were hanging outside the stage doors when I arrived. I immediately introduced myself and explained how I flew in from Mexico, not knowing anything about them, but highly recommended by many of my friends. “So here I am” I told them. They were just as happy for them to meet me as I was to meet them. As you can see by the photo, I took a picture with the band. They were such nice guys, I felt very fortunate to have arrived that early. At the right place, at the right time, so they say.
All four bands were hot. Abrams was a surprise, from Colorado, they were excellent. But it was Dozer who killed it, they definitely kicked some major ass. I had an excellent seat, with an excellent view. The show wasn’t sold out, so it wasn’t all packed, which gave me an excellent view of the bands and the stage. My first time at the Brick by Brick was an amazing experience, I had a great time, it was fun.
I’m glad that I purchased their latest album on Bandcamp the week before, so I was somewhat familiar with their songs. Dozer played five songs from their newest album, Drifting In The Endless Void, it was GREAT! They sounded good and I loved it, FIVE SONGS!!!
Yupp, it was an intense experience. I’ll definitely see Dozer again.
Until next time…..

06/07/2025: As usual, I’m not familiar with any of these bands music, only what I’ve read about, and word of mouth. My good friend Kimo speaks highly of all three bands, and Román and Juan Tamayo, both members of Vinnum Sabbathi (CDMX), speak highly of them too. I’ve been told not to miss this show, so I’m going. I’ll be in San Diego for some Dr’s appts, so I’m taking in a show, with Perro and Kimo. It’ll be fun.
I’ll keep you posted.
