Zimtrim, you posted the wrong stub to this page. This stub should go on the Sept 15 entry.

ZIMTRIM: OK, I sent in a support request, and it was confirmed that these shows cannot be "Multi-day." This comes directly from Concert Archives founder Justin Thiele himself:

"Each day should be listed as a separate concert."

Greg Fasolino Apr 14, 2022

ZIMTRIM:
There are numerous reasons why these concerts cannot be listed as Multi-day.
1) They are SEPARATE concerts, with different info. Many times, bands will play a different setlist if they play consecutive nights, or will have a different opening band. Erroneously mashing them into one entry erases this and makes it impossible to differentiate each unique concert, and that's the idea here!
2. These entries are synched up to Setlist.fm, and when you mash them together, it cannot assign the correct setlists to each night.
3. I have never seen another setlist error here like this. All other entries for bands with consecutve concerts at same venue are listed as separate shows. Check it out. Just to pick an example, go to the Madison Square Garden page and scroll back. Hundreds of bands have played back to back shows, or even many nights in a row, and each show gets its own proper entry. https://www.concertarchives.org/...
4. All other concert and setlist websites (Songkick and Setlist.fm for example) also insist on separate entries.

Unfortunately, this site (while great) is poorly moderated and full of duplicate entries and awful inconsistencies, and it doesn't have strong moderators fixing things and ensuring compliance with standardized rules. Hopefully that will evolve. In meantime, I can post a note on the "ask" page so you can get an official clarification if you want.

GREG - Where did you get that info from. I've been listing multi-night shows in one listing since I joined in 2009. You are new member Concert Archives. You're the only person that has had problem with it, just now. Please provide a source for your claim.
"Multi-day" concert is for FESTIVALS and the like. Not for shows where a band played two separate concerts in the same venue on consecutive nights.

P.S. Entry for the following night's concert is here: https://www.concertarchives.org/...

Ticket stub added by "Zimtrim" does not belong here, it should be posted on the entry for the next night's concert, 9/15/78

"Multi-day" concert is for FESTIVALS and the like. Not for shows where a band played two separate concerts in the same venue on consecutive nights. Please stop changing this.
