This was the first time he played Evansville and it was a very big deal. Ticket price was 5 dollars at the most. I'm sure it was the same show he did every other night but we all thought we were seeing something special. Yes, it ended with "Elvis has left the building." He wore sequined jump suits back then. That night it was a light blue one. Other than his voice sounding incredible I remember how hot it was in there. Robert's Stadium wasn't air conditioned back then and the place was sold out.Like a steamy sauna in a rain forest.
