We moved to Wheaton from Mooseheart in 1968. We lived on Beecher street within walking distance of the DuPage County Fairgrounds. I remember at about age 8 or 9 around 1973 sneaking out with my older brothers and jumping the fence to see a nighttime concert at the fairgrounds. It was described as an acid rock concert. In my mind I always thought it was Iron Butterfly, but I suppose it might have been Focus. Does anyone recall this?
