This was the first time I saw Genesis, and they were amazing. Peter Gabriel's stories were a breath of fresh air and "The Knife" was magnificent!
The tour was expected to make a loss, but it went ahead anyway in the hope it would generate record sales. It turned out to be the most successful tour of its kind in two years, selling out every venue and being extended. In fact, 500 fans were left outside wanting to get in, and the 2,500 inside created nothing less than hysteria!
