Kids go crazy for brothers in alms
Get ready for the second coming of Hanson. Three years after their debut album Middle Of Nowhere sold more than 8 million copies worldwide, the angelic-looking American brothers with their shiny blond tresses have released a new album, This Time Around. Thousands of crazed Brisbane youngsters screamed themselves hoarse yesterday as the boys took to the Botanic Gardens River Stage to belt out a string of tracks from their album. The concert was a one-off, the trio describing it as a warm-up for an upcoming US tour. Tickets sold for just $2, with proceeds donated to the Smith Family Charity's Learning For Life program. "We like to give something back whenever we can,"Taylor, 17, said. Times have changed since the brothers were last in the limelight. The new album finds them exploring "new sonic avenues". "I think the album shows a natural change in our music," Isaac, 19 said. "You'll see it's a pretty natural progression from where we were," Taylor added.
