Showcasing their exceptional artistry and passion, the duo highlights the expressive and powerful Richard Strauss Violin Sonata in E-flat major as the centrepiece of this beautiful program. Their performance encompasses a diverse and enchanting repertoire that also includes the virtuosic “Paraphrase on Figaro” by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Antonín Dvořák’s tender “Songs My Mother Taught Me,” and the evocative “Mother and Child” by William Grant Still. The vibrant traditional Chinese folk song “Fisherman Harvest Song” and Richard Wagner's intimate “Albumblatt” further complement this unique set.
