The Louisiana State University student radio station KLSU 91.1 FM put on the show as a fund-raiser for the station, with the stage erected in the original Alex Box Stadium (LSU Baseball). Many favorite local bands played, with the big draws being the U.S Times and the Producers. U.S. Times put on a display of early-80’s punk rock that electrified the crowd, culminating with a snarling rendition of their regional hit “I Wanna Go to London”. The Producers then put on their more polished New Wave set, also very energetic, with “What’s He Got”, “She Sheila”, and “What She Does to Me” being crowd favorites.
