KISS / Queensrÿche

This was my first Kiss show, on my 16th birthday - I was over the moon. I loved them since about 1976. My girlfriend came with me, our moms drove us there. The lights, HUGE Kiss sign, pyro, the light trusses they rode on, ... WOW! Paul introducing Fits Like a Glove, Lick It Up, etc. A good story teller.. It took me a couple years to really get into Queensryche, Geoff Tate has an incredible voice and upbringing.

I lived in Independence at the time, so The Five was the place to be. Five years later I worked there for 25 years off/on.

If anyone knows where I could get a ticket from this show, please let me know!

Great show!! Bought Queensryche cassette next day at Westdale Mall. I was home from ARMY leave, going to Korea in couple weeks. I remember driving my younger brother there in my Dad's car. After the show was BRUTAL. ICE on the streets, freezing. Iowa winter for you. But, Thats in the name of ROCK AND ROLL! LIVE AT THE 5, Baby!

This was my first concert ever 36 years ago yesterday! I still have the concert poster bill! I won on 97X WXLP I was 14 so i had to go w/my dad. I won Queensryrche THE WARNING & KISS ANIMALIZE albums along with it!
