Kruelty, from Japan, is playing GDL for the first time. I’ve never seen them, but I’ve read good things about them, and was told it’s some heavy stuff, and since I’m gonna be in town that day, I might as well see them. I like there YouTube videos. I’m still trying to figure out who else is supporting, but I’ll get to that later. Yes, I’ll probably have to wear earplugs, oh well, we’ll see. As usual, I’ll keep you posted. Update: I should have known better, it was an entire night of dark hard core, with plenty of Cookie Monster vocals. Funny thing is, as the bands played on, every band got better than the one before them, and I’m talking music wise. I pretty much ignored the vocals, but the bands did rock. I must admit, Kruelty was the best band there last night, brutal! All in all, it was a fun night, I got my favorite chair and made my way to the left side of the stage where I relaxed all night with a great view, and yes, I wore my ear plugs, had too.
