My first time seeing Led Zeppelin. It was billed as ‘An Evening With’. No supporting act. I was in High School, senior year.

1970, my first time seeing Led Zeppelin, I was still in high school. Zeppelin played numerous shows in L.A. prior to their first L.A. Forum appearance, like the Rose Palace in Pasadena. I don’t recall hearing anything about that show, but then I wasn’t driving yet. Pasadena, Hollywood just seemed so far at the time. But when Zeppelin played the L.A. Forum we were living in Torrance, which was pretty much just down the street to Inglewood. I lived off 182nd, just down the street to Prairie Avenue, make a right, go down 6-7 miles, and you’re there. I took advantage of that and had my dad drive me there, and he’d pick me up. Led Zeppelin were great, I loved the hippie vibe.
That all started in 1968, when I went to the Forum for the first time, to see The Doors. The rest is L.A.Forum history. LOL!
