Feb 08, 2026

02/08/2026 Update: I know it’s been awhile, but I actually went to this show to see Titan.
You see, at that time, Titan were a band on Tee Pee Records, the same label as Earthless. Tee Pee Records were one of the first underground stoner labels at the time. They had bands like Dead Meadow, Witch, Graveyard, and Titan, and a lot more.
When I saw that Titan was opening up to Local H,
the first thing that popped into my mind was, “they’re on Tee Pee Records, they must be good, it’s the same label that Earthless is on”. I was a big fan of Earthless and had already seen them in San Francisco. So decided to go see Local H, and especially Titan.
Titan were great, I’m so glad I went. In my opinion, they were a better band than Local H.
After their set, I spoke to their guitarist and explained the reason I came to see them. I told him about my affinity for Tee Pee Records. He was quite pleased, and thanked me.
As it is, I wound up buy both their CD’s at their merch table, I’m glad I did, because they’re hot.
Actually, Local H were pretty good.
After that, I went home quite content. So that’s my Titan and Local H story. I was living in Visalia, CA at the time and it was my first show at Howie and Son’s Pizza. Sound and Vision put on quite a few shows there, but I also missed a few good ones too.
Until my next story, Peace.
