My first BOC show and they delivered. This was their first tour without their famous lazer lightshow which they gave up for many reasons but it was not missed as they always had a killer lighting rig and pyro and other stage effects that enhanced the music. Let me say that Eric Bloom was a very underrated singer and frontman and was always cool wearing hs shades. The musical hightlight was "Astronomy" were Buck Dharma soared with his extended guitar solo, as a huge mirror ball swirled in the middle of the arenas ceiling. The finale was infroduced as massive flashpots eurupted in front of the stage and smoke billowed out as Bloom rode his Harley to center stage. As the song concluded fireworks burst off on each side of the stage as roman rockets shot skyward and on stage towers of sparks lit the stage up. Of course as the smoke cleared the expect "Reaper" closed the show out. Great feast for the eyes and ears. BOC never failed to have a killer show. Ronnie Montrose
's Gama opened, got a good reception, I can't remember ir Ronnie played any classic Montose or not.
