Weaves - 90s indie music is back. Sounds like Blondie, Pixies, B52s, Best Coast. Woman dancing with herself. No football players. The bass player was having all sorts of issues but he was doing a good job containing his rage. Overall very fun.
Fear of Men - Slim Neo Greg on guitar. Krysten Ritter on lead. George's bulimic girlfriend on bass. Jeremy Morris on drums. Major sound issues. Slightly underwhelming but I'll blame that on sound issues (screwed with their momentum). Good when they let it go. Like the first album stuff much more than the second.
Mitski - Austere set up. None were big on banter. Had other thoughts but forgot 'em. Fun time, though. Lots of hot Asian chicks.
Overall - Grinnell sure knows how to party - 4 students arguing over what kind of wine drunk they'll get. And why the smooth jazz house music? Unnecessarily warm. Sound was shit but it was a dorm basement with either a student engineer or recent graduate.
