Concert Details

Date:
Saturday, April 22, 1995
Venue:
Sheffield Arena
Location:
Sheffield, England, United Kingdom
Notes:

Oasis were supported by Pulp, as last minute replacements for The Verve. It was the acoustic debut of Don’t Look Back In Anger, and the last concert of original drummer Tony McCarroll.
The Verve were the original support act, but pulled out as the guitarist had had his knuckles broken in a brawl in Paris the night before. This was Pulp's biggest ever indoor show in front of 12000 people. After going to great lengths to keep their appearance a secret Jarvis played the intro to Babies from off-stage before the other members of the band appeared.
