The Pat Metheny Group played like a well oiled machine...a perfect sonorous blend of jazz fusion . The solos of Metheny and partner Lyle Mays were riveting!..At this particular concert, I walked down a side aisle to thank Pat Metheny for his treasure of music. He was engaged with an up and coming young guitarist named Julian Lage, who came to see one of his guitar heroes. It looked like there was equal admiration from both of them.
