REZN (all caps) / Lowheaven / Breadth

10/30/2026, Update: WOW!!, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my 73rd Birthday than seeing REZN with my best friend, Art Garcia , at The Soda Bar in San Diego, this past Oct 25th, 2026.
REZN killed it, they kicked ass, an incredibly heavy show. I thought they were great when I saw them at Lincoln Hall, in Chicago, in 2021, but REZN has only gotten better. They’ve been steadily touring for the last 6 years, which makes for seasoned and talented musicians. I am so glad I finally got the chance to see them again. I spoke to Rob and Patrick for quite some time, great guys, very appreciative of their fans and audience.
REZN played new songs, but it was the four songs off of Chaotic Divine that blew me away.
My only regret is not seeing them sooner, twice
they came through LA, but I just couldn’t make it.
Breadth, a local SD band opened the evening , I really liked them, their music had an interesting atmospheric sound. I could have done without the harsh vocals , but you really couldn’t hear them anyway. Low heaven was good, but my least favorite of the evening.
I wish Kimo could have joined us, but he’s been very busy lately, and I understand, “you were missed my friend”.
I don’t believe the show was sold out, but there was a very good crowd there, it was perfect, not too crowded, but still, lots of energy.
This was part two of my Birthday celebration, part one was the night before, at The Luau, Tiki Bar, with Art, just down the street from The Soda Bar. I need to celebrate more Birthdays this way, LOL!

05/17/2026: The last time I saw REZN was in November, 2021, in Chicago. I saw them two nights in a row. They supported King Buffalo at Lincoln Hall (excellent venue), then the following night, supported Kikagaku Moyo at The Empty Bottle. I flew from Guadalajara, Mexico, to Chicago, non stop, just to see REZN.
So I’m way overdue, and I’m so looking forward to seeing them in San Diego. October is my Birthday month, so I’ll be celebrating it in San Diego seeing REZN. I’ve already bought my tickets, so I’m ready. As usual, I’ll keep you posted.
