Rockinburgh 2025

Permacisis - Better than I was expecting and thankfully not many growly vocals. Good young band, impossibly young actually, but could do well in the future.

Black Lesion - Singer has a good voice but not really my thing and we listened to them through the seats near the venue door.

Blue Nicotine - had high hoped as they sound good in the studio. But, singing and guitar playing was all over the place, think the singer might have a few bevvies, disappointing.

The Breathing Method & Burnt Out Wreck - had to miss them due to Edinburgh Derby at same time, had saw them live previously though.

Gin Annie - Had saw them before and they were great at LaBelle, definite step up from the bands lower down the bill.

The Dead Collective - Superb atmospheric stuff and worthy headliner. Would have bought a CD but there were none for sale at the end of the night.

Disappointing attendance once again for one of the few Rock festivals that Edinburgh has. But it's a charity event and they can't afford to pay the bigger name bands who attract attract a bigger crowd.

Won a guitar in the raffle which was a nice bonus.
