Who was the opening act? Foghat?
I don't know what it was, because I wasn't a super Faces music fan. But to this day in 2020 I still remember this as one of the greatest rock concerts ever. Something about the way Rod Stewart commanded the stage and sang, the intimate sound, or whatever. "Awesome" as they would say today.
