Definitely the Music Hall. It was my first concert. See photo above.
The venue is correct, but you must have gotten the date slightly wrong. Runrig did play a gig at the Aberdeen Capitol, but in 1985, not 1988. I've been there too while staying as an undergraduate at Kings College in 85/86.
Was the venue changed? My ticket says Capitol.....🤔
It wasn't at the Capitol, it was at the music hall in Aberdeen.
