THE PIRATE PARTY – A Comedy Benefit Gig A massive comedy fundraiser to help ship Andrew McClelland and Lawrence Leung award winning Comedy Festival show “THE SOMEWHAT ACCURATE HISTORY OF PIRATES” to the world’s biggest comedy festival - the Edinburgh Fringe. They celebrated sold out seasons in 2003 Melbourne Fringe (WINNER- Special Comedy Commendation Award) and the 2004 Melbourne Comedy Festival (WINNER – Comedians’ Choice Award). Performers on the night will include Greg Fleet , Charlie Pickering (JJJ, ABC TV’s Stand Up), Eddie Perfect (2004 Best Newcomer, Comedy Festival), Dave Callan (the beardy favourite), Gerard McCulloch (Rove Live), The Pinch (3RRR, Radiodead), Man Bites God, Wild Duck and Sforzando, Australia’s premiere Pirate Punk band. Thur 1 July $15 at the door 8pm.
