I was there for the first Slash's Snakepit show of their tour (MTV News even covered it!). Definitely worth noting that The Nixons were the opening act and blew everyone away -- I remember they weren't on the bill and they didn't introduce themselves, so they had to say "we're The Nixons" after the crowd kept yelling "who are you guys?!". Also worth noting: I doubt the validity of that setlist. I think I'd remember "My Charona" (I don't), and I distinctly remember them closing with a cover of "Magic Carpet Ride."
