The first day of the festival (March 24) consisted of shows at multiple smaller venues in Dallas, rather than AirHogs Stadium. These shows were also $10 per set (there were multiple sets with different assortments of bands to choose from).
In 2017, there were several anniversaries of albums for multiple bands on this lineup, and many of them played those albums in full. They were denoted on the official flyer.
During "Pretense" in Knuckle Puck's set, their vocalist Joe Taylor went to jump off the stage and ended up in the hospital with an injured hand and wrist. The set was abruptly ended.
