[show #137] It was great to see the original lineup from Wisconsin Death Trip on the stage again. Minus Wayne, of course, as he sadly passed away some years ago. Rumors were that Edsel from Dope played double duty during the tour, donning an evil Wayne mask. I think Wayne would have been proud. They were great. Been almost 10 yrs since a Static X show, probably be the last. First time seeing Devildriver. They were (yes, I'm going to say it) too loud. It was difficult to even hear them. But it was cool that they played Loco, of Coal Chamber fame, and surprising to see how many people knew it. Dope played a great set. Wednesday 13, too. They were a Halloween-type band. Like Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. I liked them. Raven Black seemed good, but I only got to catch 1 song. I met up with Paul and Charity Catruch from work though. It was so hot there. 90 degrees outside, and no ventilation inside the place. I don't think I'll go to another summer show at Wally's. I almost left early just to keep from passing out.
