Quo performed at a special weekend held by British Telecom at the Alton Towers amusement park as a celebration for their staff. They played a one hour set on each of the two days, mixing it with such illustrious company as Tony Blackburn and Madness.
The band hot-footed it from their afternoon slot at Alton Towers on the afternoon of the 28th to Petworth for their gig to 8000 there that night, arriving very late and having a rapid, minimal setup by their professional crew.
