The Amity Affliction / WAAX / Nerve Damage

I arrived and saw the last 2 songs by Nerve Damage, very loud and tight as a band but very impressive. A bit like early Black Flag with Henry Rollins out front.
WAAX were on next, a Brisbane band with female lead singer and female bass player, another impressive outfit, that had the crowd singing out loud when they did a cover of My Chemichal Romance's Teenagers.
It was an agonising nearly 1 hour wait to9 see the mighty Amity Affliction and boy, did they deliver !!
The opened with Pittsburgh, Shine On and the new single Like Love, then they payed my absolute fav song to hear live, Drag the Lake, what a killer tune. The moshpit was going insane with a circle pit that I couldn't resist.
The whole night I was about 6-8 rows back from the barrier. which was ok, as I was enjoying singing and moshing. the last songs were Don't lean on me, then the encore, Soak Me in Bleach, and absolute belter.
As the lights came on, my very sweaty and weary body looked around to survey the damage, sweaty and happy people everywhere, then I turned around to face the stage, and like Noah parting the Red Sea, I saw an opening and there was the barrier! I at least wanna touch the barrier.
So as I touched the barrier and looked from side to side, I saw the roadie handing an audience member the set list from the guitarist Troy Brady, so I quickly motioned to the roadie as he walked across the front of the stage, "please get me the drummer setlist ?!"
He kindly obliged and pulled up the duck tape holding it to the carpet, tapped the closest security guard on the shoulder and said, "pass this to that guy", motioning toward me, and with the biggest smile on my dial, I walked out with a set list used by Ryan Burt, Bloody legend !!
