Grapes of Wrath were unannounced prior to the show. They had broken up years earlier and this was their first attempt at reforming.
Jacquie Abbott quit The Beautiful South mid-tour, only days before this concert. I saw them in Washington DC 5 days earlier with Jacquie still performing. It was cool seeing how Paul and Dave compensated for her absence.
