This was my second time seeing The Dirty Heads, as i was blown away the first time i saw them live. A real highlight of this show was discovering new music from the opening bands. New Politics were very high energy and got the crowd pumped up. T.U.G.G was a personal favorite for me. I love reggae music and jump at the chance to discover new reggae jams. Became an instant fan of T.U.G.G as they had an obvious Sublime style that's hard to resist.
The Dirty Heads themselves were nothing short of amazing. After dropping their latest album, it was a pleasure to hear their new tracks live. The highlight of the show for me came about halfway through the show. I was essentially in the middle of the crowd when Duddy B flicked a guitar pic out into the crowd. I couldn't see it but felt something hit my arm. After shining my phone on the ground, wouldn't you know it. There it was. An awesome added perk to go along with an awesome show.
