Yep! It was Jesse Winchester. I found some old notes confirming this.
BTW: this was an afternoon show, and it was a nice hot sunny day.
I was an intern at NARF in Boulder the Summer of 1978. Great show! Other sites say Jesse Winchester opened this show, but I thought it was Jesse Colin Young of the Youngbloods. Too many years ago to remember precisely.
