Tamburlaine Apr 19, 2024

Some doofus was throwing ice at Paul — I think during I Will Dare. He jumped into the crowd to get the guy. Unfortunately he didn’t find him. A roadie stepped in to sing the end of the song. The funniest point was when a kid trying to stage dive evaded security by jumping up to a lighting bracket, going hand over hand to work his way back into the crowd, then dropped back into the audience. Tommy bent over because he was laughing so hard, then he told Paul after the song.

Later on, they sang a derisive “Happy Birthday” to the Channel, referring to it as “the Barrel.” Barrance came out to sing I’ll Be There and the Sly cover with them.

I used to see Barrence whenever I could, this was a wild night, The Replacements were great before a brawl of sorts derailed them, but I think they finished the set.
