This was a free concert. The pairing of the two acts was because the Ventures first drummer as teens, George Babbitt, left to join the U.S. Airforce. Now a general, Babbitt joined the Ventures on drums for "Walk Don't Run". Then, the Ventures played a set together with the Air Force band on songs that required more instrumentation like "Hawaii Five-O". Great show.
