This was an invite only album release show. The only reason I got to go was because a member of my band worked in radio. So we got the hookup! I remember we were so excited. We had just formed a new band and were looking forward to our first show. And this was the local guys who had had international success. Opening for Kiss on their reunion tour. They had a top ten hit with “The Freshman”. I ran into a girl I liked but hadn’t seen in a while. We had never hooked up before. Well, I’ll just say things went real good that night…
