Triumph + Aprilwine + Crack The Sky January 28, 1978 : An Earth Production : $6.50
Saturday, January 28th, Municipal Auditorium, smack dab in the middle of my sophomore year at Madison High School. Aprilwine and Crack The Sky opened. I remember casually walking backstage through a door on the right hand side of the stage during Triumph's first song as everyone else rushed the stage. Nobody hassled me, so I found a place to sit, a big red cooler that just happened to be filled with beer, and that's where I was most of the show. The best and most memorable part was drinking a beer and talking with Mike Levine, Triumph's bass player, while Gil Moore did his drum solo. Now that's rock and roll!
