I won the tickets from 101.5 KGB fyor a concert which was the topper for the year a show we thought we would never ever again we saw Van Halen with their original singer David Lee Roth back in the group, unfortunately they did not have there original bass player (Michael Anthony) for it to be a true reunion. The show was great anyway, they started with you really got me and went from there. They played songs from the first 6 albums. The bass player was Eddie son Wolfgang and he did do a god job. Eddie’s guitar solo was good as always and Alex’s drum solo kicked ass. It was the best Van Halen show we have seen. The music had a harder edge to it compared to the last time we saw them. Here is the song list:, You Really Got Me, I'm the One, Runnin' With the Devil, Romeo Delight, Somebody Get Me a Doctor, Beautiful Girls, Dance the Night Away, Atomic Punk, Everybody Wants Some, So This Is Love?, Mean Street, Pretty Woman, Drum solo, Unchained, I'll Wait, And the Cradle Will Rock, Hot for Teacher, Little Dreamer Little Guitars, Jamie's Cryin', Ice Cream Man, Panama, Guitar solo, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, Encore: 1984, Jump
We would like to see the four original members together again, but if not we will still go see them if this lineup stays put, and if not at least we got to see them one last time. We were glad we went because we almost did not go, we did not buy tickets. When the tickets went on sale I looked at the price and said no way. The tickets were $150.00 each for the 2 of us that is over $300.00 after you ad in all the service charges and that is not counting the money needed for food and drinks, when you add that in the show for us would have been at least $450.00, our wedding was more important than the concert.
