In een korte tijd staat de Belgische rockband Rhea al op de mainstage van Rock Werchter, maar ze tonen dat ze dit waard zijn. Van op de voorste rij, midden in de moshpits, luidkeels meezingend met alle nummers, dat is hoe je een Rhea concert het best beleeft. Ze hebben een gelijkaardige sound als Royal Blood, maar na beide concerten op dezelfde stage te zien kan ik met zekerheid zeggen dat Rhea stukken beter was.

BEST GOED
De beste keer van alle keren dat ik gezien heb! De zanger heeft eindelijk door dat hij de lange noten niet meer aan kan, dus daar had hij een goede oplossing voor gevonden door zijn mond weg te trekken bij de microfoon, haha. Verder had die ook ademtekort haha. Ze speelden verder erg goed.

Alleen de laatste 3 kwartier gezien. Was fijn, maar wat was de afsluiting een domper zeg. Hadden ze veel meer mee kunnen en moeten doen. Uit het niks afgelopen, zo zonde. Hadden beter Metallica op zondag kunnen zetten.

En ja hoor, ook op de 4e dag een 5-sterren opening. Joost 🤩! Briljante teksten, heerlijke humor. Crazy Frog 🤣. Maar mooiste moment was toch wel toen Walter Grootaerts het podium op kwam om samen ‘ik wil je’ te zingen.

Ontzettend gaaf wat ze hier wegzetten, alleen had er toch wat meer van verwacht. Op het laatste werd het eentonig.
