I played there 6 times in a band called Jazzin' Hell. Opened for Rick Berlin, The Neighborhoods and did new band reviews. That's how I got in...I was 19 lol. One of those new band reviews was the day before Blue Oyster Cult played as Soft White Underbelly. I came for that show and met BOC.
I turned 23 years old at this show! I loved The Channel in Boston and saw many GREAT shows there!
I was at this show. It was Rare Earth, War and VF. Amazing. At one point during War's set I turned around and Carmine Appice was standing behind me. I politely said hello.and shook his hand. Pretty cool.
