A Bill Graham Presents, A Day On The Green, at the Oakland Stadium. With The Who headlining, and The Grateful Dead co-headlining. During the break my cousins and I went down to the open lawn area, made our way to the front of the stage, we all dropped half a sugar cube of some pure clean L-25, and we all had a great time. My friend Jeff gave them to me, and he said, “Steve, break these in half”, so I did. Plenty for everybody. We were probably 20 feet from the stage, center, and The Who were fuckin’ Hott! Better than San Diego three days earlier.
