I remember, sometime before this concert, a concert-goer colleague of mine coming to my office all ecstatic. He told me Soft White Underbelly was going to be playing at the Agora in Hartford. I shrugged and said I never heard of them to which he responded that they were Blue Oyster Cult. Turning on the radio to listen for ticket info they were indeed being billed as Soft White Underbelly. We got tickets and it was a fantastic show. My only complaint was that it was a ballroom; a huge room devoid of seats. We had gotten there early and the band didn't start until almost midnight so it was a long evening of standing. Was it worth it? Oh hell yeah.
