I’ve told the story many times, but walking out of that venue into the July night air felt like walking into a refrigerator. When I turned the corner, I saw a sign that read 80°F.
I kid you not it was well over 100 degrees in there (the walls were sweating) that night. Adrian Smith was absent due to his father’s funeral.
