Went with a buddy who didn't have an advance ticket. Got there early. NO TICKETS AVAILABLE. SOLD OUT. Hung around with him for awhile trying to buy one to no avail. Like a good friend, I sold mine for $25 and we headed down the street to Ziggy's. They checked my ID and stamped me when we went in. Grabbed a beer and was resigned to the fact that I was going to miss LITTLE FEAT consoling myself that we had beer money for the evening. After about 30 minutes we heard the opening of FAT MAN IN THE BATHTUB...Something came over me and I said "come on" . We RAN the block back to Baity's and joined the throng going in to the show. I held up my hand to show the stamp I had gotten at Ziggy's as I was herded in. IT WORKED. WE BOTH WERE IN...FOR FREE. What a night. The band was incredible + free beer all night
