I was also at the Johnny Cash WWVA show in Wheeling on July 6, 1968 which was held in a large music auditorium. Back then the audience could go back stage after show and meet the stars. It was at this time when I ended up sitting on Mama Maybelle’s lap as a little boy and got to meet a Johnny Cash and June Carter. I also remember seeing the Statler Brothers and Bill Monroe at other shows held there on other dates.
