KLAPPEN!
Was erg benieuwd hoe ze zich zouden herpakken na het gedoe in Schotland. 1 ding is zeker, royal blood had meer dan 9 rock fans voor zich staan en ze hoefde niet voor zichzelf te klappen. Technisch heel goed, energieke show, maar helaas was het geluid tijdens Royal Blood zeer matig, waardoor het op de plek waar wij stonden nooit echt van de grond kwam

JAPANS SONGFESTIVAL
Was het slecht? Zeker niet. De zang was zuiver, er werd goed gespeeld, maar het ging snel vervelen. Kende de band nog niet, maar de liedjes waren vrij eenvoudig, elk einde werd uitgerekt met een drumsolo en eigenlijk klonk alles uitermate geschikt voor het Songfestival. Op die stage, direct 12 punten. Op het Malieveld iets minder

NEUSJE VOOR SHOW
Bij Muse weet je 2 dingen zeker. Je krijgt heel veel hits en je krijgt heel veel show. En dat laatste ontbrak ook vanavond niet. Alles werd uit de kast getrokken. Van confetti tot vlammenwerpers en twee hele vette props op het podium, met als hoogtepunt de demonenstier die heel het podium letterlijk in zn greep hield. Eigenlijk waren er maar 2 kleine nadelen, waarvan de stof die opwaaide na elke moshpit niet eens echt benoemd hoeft te worden. Alleen een pannenkoek met stroop voor 9 euro is wel echt belachelijk

All the hit songs played fantastic, in the beginning the lightshow was overwhelmed by the sun which was a shame. Once the sun set it was spectacular, like you expect from muse.

BOILERMAKER 🤘
Lekker strak, prima show, eigenlijk wel alle grootste hits en geluid was dik in orde.

SHOWTIME
Geweldige show, strak geregisseerd en goed ondersteund door het team aan technici. Het was wel erg lang licht, met een latere start (niet handig icm OV) of ander moment op de kalender komt dat qua lichtshow nog meer tot z’n recht. Maar geweldige die afwisseling qua podium en achtergrond. Geluid (voorin) was na de 1e 2 nummers (wat dof) goed afgesteld. Publiek ging vooral goed op de hits wat op het uitgedroogde stuk terrein waar al geen grasspriet meer groeide leidde tot enorme stofwolken, lekker stofhappen. Matt heb ik wel eens beter horen zingen maar was zeker niet slecht. Met grote regelmaat werd gebruik gemaakt van het lange podium om wat dieper in het publiek op het Malieveld te geraken. Qua ruimte was het voorin prima te doen en derhalve heerlijk genoten van weer een avondje Muse.

Best wel OK op zich, de zang was in orde en de energie werd er ook wel ingestopt. Maar verder was het wat veel van hetzelfde en dus wat vlak/saai. In een genre (pop-rock) dat iets minder m’n voorkeur heeft.

Bij alle oude nummer heel erg goed, maar te veel nietszeggende intermezzo’s en te veel van de in mij ogen slechte nieuwe plaat en kwam wat traag op gang Heb Muse zo veel beter gezien
