Grew up in LA, '69-'87. First concert was Shaun Cassidy. (@'80).From then on, it was an endless stream of amazing shows. SantaCruz/SF '87-'97 and every weekend was another amazing show. So blessed.

I remember RHCP came down to the stage in pods or something? This was the first time i ever saw them NOT open wirh Out in LA. Does anyone know if that was actually the case? Any way, as far as historical shows, it doesnt get better than this.

One of the greatest I've ever seen. Fb and RHCP were birthing raw music and energy never seen before and blowing up the LA scene. While RunDMC were far more famous, they were way out of their league. Pairing them with arguably the two greatest live acts to ever hit the stage was really cruel. Comparatively, they were kind of a joke. I think most of the crowd left after a song or two. I know I did. And I liked RunDMC, but... there was no point.
