Loved dancing to Radio 4. Great set by the Arcade Fire. They Might be Giants always fun. Iggy Pop was his usual self, it was great. Many great performances, but this festival remains a bitter memory because of New Order. Bernard Sumner appeared on stage with a glass of wine trying to be funny, and then it got worse. Then they butchered their classics, including "Love will tear us apart". This was 20 years ago and I still remember it vividly, perhaps because I was (and still am) a big fan.

Also, I don't think that Whipping Boy was in the program. And I want to point out that the whole event was free, and yet the crowds where not that big.

An incredible evening, long ago at the Plaça del Rei in Barcelona. Belle and Sebastian were plagued by sound problems but it was an incredible, moving experience nevertheless. The published setlist is not correct, see the embedded video from the catalan TV. I don't think that the setlist of The Magnetic Fields is correct either. Also, just for the record, Amelia Fletcher sang at least one of the songs by the Magnetic Fields
