This story has to be, needs to be, told to the people. What is in this story is part of the American story the Americana of us. Google: KFAT radio

I had the pleasure honor of meeting Gilbert Klein in my travels. We became good friends over the years. I wasn’t in California for the KFAT radio era. After reading his HC and SC publications, I’m ready for the movie

This was my second show as a guest audio engineer at the Cactus Club in San Jose California. Wedge (John Brannon) was on tour with Slayer at this time. Wedge was the house audio engineer for the Cactus Club. Dave Jaseck (Ded Neybor) was the person who was watching the cactus club while wedge was away on his tour. I walked in off the street and spoke to Dave and told him I was new in town and would he allow me to mix some bands who were playing at the time. This was about a week prior to the No Doubt show. The night before the No Doubt show Dave allowed me to mix the Sesha Press Record show featuring the bands Drug, 187 Calm, and??? I was a total unknown person doing sound for this very special event (I found out later) and totally blew everyone’s minds with my work and endeared myself to the downtown San Jose music scene. I didn’t stay long at the cactus club because I went into the corporate wedding circuit where the real money was at.
