The Group Meetups functionality on Concert Archives makes it easy to organize or join a meetup before the show, a quick hello between sets, or winding down post-encore.
Everything is linked directly to a specific concert, so details stay organized in one place. Anyone can create a meetup. You don't need to be an official organizer, just someone excited to connect with fellow fans.
Search for the concert or festival you are attending.
See if one already exists, or make your own in just a few clicks.
Chat, share updates, & post photos in the meetup thread.
Attendees receive notifications for new comments, updates, and reminders before the meetup starts. No need for scattered group texts or digging through social threads to find the meeting spot.
Because everything is linked to the concert page, you can easily find the details again later.
Some lessons learned from hosting our own meetups:
Meetups tend to work best at multiday festivals or destination shows, where fans have more downtime and are in town for the full experience. Events with several attendees on Concert Archives also give you a stronger starting point. That said, even a small meetup at a regular weeknight concert can be really fun as well.
Sometimes external factors like long merch lines or weather can disrupt plans. A little flexibility goes a long way.
Concerts are all about shared experiences. Meetups are a great way to meet likeminded people and connect with the community.
Find your concert and join a meetup or start your own.
