This should be Sleze. Sleze changed their name to Alice N’ Chains May 1987. Alice N’ Chains broke up August 1987. Then Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney & Mike Starr joined forces and used Jerry’s old band’s name Diamond Lie. By June of 88’ they were going by ALICE IN CHAINS.

Alice In Chains did not tour with Van Halen at all in 1996. They toured with them August 16, 1991 - first part of January 1992. The date on this photo is wrong - it should be 1991. Bacus.net or SetList.fm are secondary sources to verify dates.
