June 24th, 1995 in Golden Gate Park in San Fransisco. Pearl Jam with Neil Young. This is the infamous show where Eddie Vedder soldiered through 7 songs with Pearl Jam and then had to leave the stage because of food poisoning. What happened next was a dream come true for me- Pearl Jam fronted by Neil Young, who led the band through a 2 hour set that just killed. They played 'Rockin' In The Free World' in the middle of the set, then played it again for the encore, where Neil just put everything he had into that last song, and really showed PJ how it was done. This was the 2nd of 2 Pearl Jam shows ‪in 3 days‬ for me and my favorite PJ experience. For me they'll never top those 2 shows. Just amazing.

Eddie Veder sang the first three songs of Pearl Jam's set then had to leave the stage due to stomach problems. Neil Young just happened to be backstage so they brought him out for an impromptu jam with the rest of Pearl Jam instead of cancelling the show. Ticket holders were offered a replacement concert in San Jose at Spartan stadium later in the year.
This concert also used in innovative ticketing method where people's names were on the ticket, in order to beat scalpers and to go around normal ticket agencies that Pearl Jam were upset about at the time.
