30 bucks at the gate. Took my son and his girlfriend to Saturdays show. I could not make Sundays show, it was a 2 day event.

Not that I was ale to go on Sunday, but Chicago was the headliner. This was the 50th anniversary of the Lewisville Pop Festival from 1969. Chicago played at that festival.
Edgar started with Free Ride, played Tobacco Road for 30 minutes or so. Didi a couple more from They Only Come Out At Night and finished with Frankenstein. Edgar plays keyboard, drums and the saxophone in Frankenstein. My sons girlfreind said "he could be a one man band"!
Most of Grand Funk now live in Florida. There was a hurricane two days prior to this event and Grand Funk had to cancel. The prior day I went late and saw Edgar and the little old band from Texas. I took my son and his girlfriend for a GOOD history lesson.
