Treated well by both club and band

The Restraints opened. Their lead singer was convicted of murder and died in prison. Hard to forget that.

Great live band in small club

This show was one of the last I attended before my foot had to be amputated. The show was memorable for several reasons. Symphony Hall had not precooled the space so it was hot as shit. Second, the girl guitar player was in the band. Third, he had draped coffin curtains in memory of the musicians who had recently died. One was for Lenny of Motorhead. fFourth HR brought his 85 year old friend to see his first rock concert. He did not enjoy it.

Under My Wheels was one of my all time favorites.

This is the show where he chopped off Britany Spears head. The Tabernacle is a more intimate venue than most in Atlanta. We were able to be closer to his show. When we left, Chuck Hunt accidently drove us the wrong way on Ralph McGill. He always stopped at the Krispy Kreme. Another memorable show and night..

I went with Janie as a date to this show. I vividly remember "Hello Hooray'and his new hit "Posion". "Under My Wheels was one of my favorite songs so that was a big treat. The parking lot was dark and Janie surprised me by getting under my wheel. It was a memorable night.

I believe this show was very nostalgic as he played the hits I grew up with.. Steve Hunter, guitarist on Lou Reed's Rock N Roll Animal, was in his band which was a big treat. I also got my introverted girlfriend, Denise, and her clan to actually go. We ended up at a bar in the neighboring city of Marietta. I was 18 for a few hours.

HR and I saw the "Brick by Brick" tour by Iggy Pop but I Janes Addiction was not part of the show.. I also do not recall it being at the Center Stage. I recall it being at the Masquerade. I will have to look that up. HR is short while I was 6, 5 at the time. The deal was for him to stand in front of me so he could see the show and run for the drinks. Double Crowns were around $20. My job was to hit any body from the mosh pit that came too close. I am now handicapped having lost my left foot. HR and I still have the same routine except he sits with me in the ADA section.
